Getting too much spam?

If your email isn't hosted with Google Apps, please follow the steps below:

1. Log on to your cpanel admin area here: http://cpanel.spasie.net/ (If you don't know the username and password for cpanel, please read this article or contact us at support@spasie.com)

2. Look for the "Spam Assassin" button in the Mail block and then click on it.

3. If the button on the next page says "Enable SpamAssassin", click on it. If it says "Disable SpamAssassin" then it's already loaded and you just need to set it to be more conservative. For this, just click"Configure SpamAssassin" at the bottom of the page. Then in the required_score box, just put a lower value number in there than is there currently. A score of 0 will almost mark all your messages as spam, and a score of 10 will be like having no spam filter software running at all.

4. Let it run at the new settings for a day or 2 to see if there's a change. If there's no change, please contact us.

If your email is hosted with Google Apps, you need to just mark the "spam" emails as spam in the web interface, and this will add more filters to the gmail servers, resulting in less spam.

Thanks.
